Guest guest
Thank you for your caring responses regarding my post about how scared I am. I know we are all scared. I have been doing this for sooo long- -8 years now and I am so tired. I have been to the best doctors during the years when we had the best insurance. I have written to everyone possible, my senators, governor, my house of rep. the health department, the press everywhere and it is getting very hard to continue fighting all the time just to breathe. The sad thing my aunt use to babysit the senator's children in my state while he was governor. I asked her the other day if she could call him so I can talk to a human being about what I have been through but-- also what all of us have endured. She said she couldn't call. I don't really see anyone other than my husband and daughter. My mom is dealing with this mold nightmare in Florida so at a time when I needed my mom she is doing the same thing. I had to say goodbye to my dad over the phone when he died a couple of years ago since I had gone to Florida to try to gain some health. During the same week my husband had a blood clot and we lost health insurance when he lost his job. We can't afford doctors at this point--it cost too much to try to have a safe place. I don't seem to have mold in my place but I am induced into illess everyday from either just cooking or chemicals from other apartments. It is just so hard to believe something can't be done. I use to be very proud that one of my ansesters was governor in land in the 1800's--I hope he was a decent man and didn't hurt people. The hardest thing is that I don't drive since I lost my car at the last moldy place. And believe me when you don't have a car, you are at the mercy of everyone else that doesn't have the time to fool with the sick. I was in a car for the first time in several years in December. The only time I get to go anywhere is in the work turck which has chemical residue from carpet. So basically I got ill from the lack of any mold regulations, and clum lords. And by not having a car I am trapped in a place that has chemicals coming in from othe apartments. I can't even go for a drive to go breathe some air. I can walk in the summer but not when it is cold cuz of asthma, mcs, etc. So needless to say I have had it with this corruption.
