Guest guest
I don't think you understand. Dr. Rea is too busy, famous and a big cheese to be spending time responding to E-mail of hundreds of us a day! He probably can't speak to people before they come to the clinic either. If he did all of that he wouldn't be able to spend time seeing all the zillions of patients per day! He does very modestly priced phone consults for all of his patients at 35.00 (it used to be 25) per 15 minute call. That is how we all communicate with him for follow up. If you were there as a patient then you are allowed to schedule a call with Carolyn Gorman for free as well -- she is very helpful. I was his patient and hope to go work under him (study) next month. It is like E-mailing your heart surgeon with little concerns after surgery. They wouldn't answer you either unless they invited you to communicate that way. I can't even get an idiot doctor on the little island of Martha's Vineyard to call or respond to an E--mail -- talk about pompous! Every minute of his day is booked with patients. He doesn't even know what's happening on the TV shows (esp. 'House') vis a vis Environmental Medicine cause I am sure he doesn't watch much at all! As physicians we respect him, as patients you guys should as well. Would anybody of his caliber in another field like your Senator or governor answer your E-mail? Just call and schedule a call and you can talk to him like everyone else and life will be good! It is like this with all leaders in Medicine they aren't that available because they are already overwhelmed with day to day patient care and conferences, books, publications, research, meetings. I just want you to put it all in perspective and appreciate what he does do. I am amazed at all the complaints of previous patients that I hear. They are often out in left field and have unrealistic expectations of Dr. Rea. He is just one guy who has EI and had Polio as well.
Guest guest
, I understand my situation very well......I don't think you understand! The day that I saw Dr.Rea, there were a total of three other people in the waiting room and only myself and one other were seeing Dr.Rea.( so much for the zillions a day) He stated that I was one of the worse cases of biotoxin poisoning that he has seen. He does not take insurance and I do not have the luxury of money like some people. I worked in the Law Enforcement field for 32 years protecting shoppers like you from being a crime victim. I used all my savings to give to my family and to doctors. I was extremely nice to Dr.Rea during the visit. After the visit I was given a sheet for all the test needed and his hand writing for all the cost of these test. I don't really care if Dr.Rea watches TV or not...that is his choice! I wish I did not have to be bedridden and watch it myself. I don't have a horse to jump on and don't think I could even jump on a turtles back right now.I am glad you are better and are doing all the things you like to do....I wish I could. As far as EHCD e-mailing me, they did. They suggested that I get Medicaid and get help elsewhere. I also need to tell you, that I did e-mail my Congressman and he e-mailed me back. Not only did he just e-mail me, he listened and is doing a Congressional Inquiry for me. So important people do e-mail other human beings back.....I am important also. I just wanted to put THIS all into perspective for you and appreciate what I do. I will be helping a lot of people that have been affected by mold and will fight this as long as it takes. So, you go shopping and to dinner parties and I will be happy just to fight for my rights and others rights. Your rights too!! Sincerely, Marcie LISA NAGY <lisa@...> wrote: I don't think you understand. Dr. Rea is too busy, famous and a big cheese to be spending time responding to E-mail of hundreds of us a day!
