I signed on to learn more information about Mold, and how the exposure to it in

my former place of employment effected my health. I find much of your sharing

very useful; but the bickering is tempting me to sign out all together. Please

get back to the pursuit of support!

Well said and thank you. I can't agree with you more. This sometimes

does happen, because many of us have been dealing with this issue

sometimes 10 years or longer. But one of my worst fears is people like

yourself joining the group, looking for support and running into a

middle of a heated discussion. As much as none of us like it, this is

at times what happens and I don't disrespect anyone for it. It just

goes to show how this has affected so many in various ways and we

don't have many options to choice from to get back on the right track

concerning our health.

Sometimes out of sheer frustration and despiration our words at times

come out sounding a bit harsh, not necessarily directed at anyone. But

for most this is a " safe " (ususally) place to vent.

I hope many people on this board that have been here for many years

will help answers some of your quesitons, unfortunately we may not

always have the answer, it's not that we didn't want to answer. You

can email me personally or for further discussion I can also call you.

Sometimes this makes things alot easier.

Stick with us we'd like to help.

I'd like to second KC's comments. Also, some of the " bickering " is a

result of the illness and our frustration with it. For many of us the

effects don't stop when the exposure stops. It can take years,

instead. Frustration and depression is inevitable. Especially since

not everyone fully recovers.

As difficult as the mold issues are, they are nothing compared to how

they affect our vision of reality. We all have a vision or idea about

" how the world works. " It was created and reinforced all our life. At

some point, the world stops working for " me " but continues for

everyone else.

How on earth do we deal with that? How do we create a new world that

does work? The only one many of us find, especially at first, is one

that isolates us from others, especially family, because our new

world is an insane one to them.

One of the goals of a group like this, in my view, is to be a safe

place for people whose world has stopped working so they can find one

that does. It requires clarification of where a person is, expanding

their information and ideas of what is possible and what is dangerous

so they can make better decisions. For those that aren't able to be

" healed " for whatever reason, at least they can make life a little

more tolerable.

Welcome, . Sorry to have been that annoying. Sometimes, it just goes with

the turf. Most of the time, we really aren't snarling at each other. Please do

hang out. There is a LOT of good info to be had here and wonderful people you'll

be glad to know!
