My allergist has me taking probiotics and prebiotics from the Shaklee

company. Has anyone heard of these?

Janet,

Yes, I have heard of Shaklee and they are well known for their

medications/herbs. I don't have any information on how well they work

because I don't know anyone personally who has taken them, just

heresay. The only thing I didn't like is my aunt was approached by a

friend of hers to become a rep. and she was signing me up as one also,

because she was buying me a $700. air purifier. Boy, did the alarms go

off. So I checked it out and I spoke to her friend (who was visiting)

about the purification system and swore to me it was not an ionizier

or ozone generator, but claimed it did not have any filters and was

not sure how it worked. The new term they use now is

photohydrogenation (sp) instead of ozone. When I confronted him on

this he got pretty upset and of course I did not accept the purifier.

Darn, I wish it was a good HEPA. Oh well.

So Janet, just like anything else I guess, use cautiously and

becareful. And it is so good to see you posting again. I hope you are

doing better.
