First of all I had to fill out my paper work in the parking lot, as he had a brand new beautiful building with all brand new fixtures, paint, carpet and God knows what else. I walked into the office and immediately went into a full blown asthma attack from all the toxins from the new office. This idiot had the nerve to get all butt hurt because, and I quote " my office is brand new, there is nothing here to make you have this attack " !!! These boys just don't have a clue. I looked at him and ask him if he really was a pulmonologists, and did he understand toxins from new things " ? He then told me that I was the only patient who had complained and he could understand if he was in his old office as it was " old " !! I couldn't help it but I had to laugh. His waiting room had two patients in it coughing their heads off. I also told him that the pesticides around and in his office were very toxic. I ask him if he knew what his " new " cabinets were made of? Did he know anything about toxic paints and carpets? I told him that he could clean up the newest with an ozone machine over the weekend when no one was there, then by putting is commercial air purifiers. His face was red and he ask me " why are you selling these things " .....I knew I had a true dweeb on my hands, so I smiled sweetly and requested the pulmonary function test, so I could get out of his toxic environment. He stomped out of the room.......You can bet your sweet bippy that I got a copy of the test before I left. When the office girl tried to reschedule me, I said " No thank you " ..... I went back to my PCP and told him if he ever referred me to another idiot like that I would be changing PCP's........I was blown away that this so called pulmonologists was not aware of environmental toxins, especially from new equipment and fixtures. As I was leaving the office 2 patients walked in BOTH heavy with perfume and after shave. There was NO sign about NO FRAGRANCE Another thing is there are very few doctors who understand vitamin/herbals. Not their fault as they are only given approximately 6 hours of nutrition in med school. Hell, my PCP is always asking me questions about vitamin/herbals and has even had me do some research for him. I admire and trust him, as he knows I have 3 alternative docs, which he has spoken to on the telephone many times regarding my case. The only information I have ever gotten from most MD's is " I don't know much about it, so just tell me so I can make a note of it in your chart " they are also confident that I know what I am taking. Other MDs have talked down about vitamin/herbals simply because they have no experience and are actually embarassed. There is hope though......everyday I meet new docs who are educating themselves about vitamin and herbals. I was blessed for 3 years, before he died, to have a doctor who did " dark field microscopy " blood readings on live and dried blood. This was wonderful as he could tell me what vitamin/herbals I needed for the month according to what he saw in these blood readings. What people don't understand is you can drive your disease deeper if you are taking the wrong things. I was lucky and in my case I was just wasting product and money and was lucky it didn't hurt me. Now I'm back to having my homeopathic MD testing me to tell me on what my body needs. I of course do major research on products before taking them. Know your product......know the manufacturer.....how it is made......how it is packaged......how it is stored......how it is transported. PLUS, know the fillers and make sure it doesn't have all the garbage in them. When in doubt ask for a " Certificate of Analysis " .......This is another reason why some MLM products are good. Guest guest
Sort of off subject, but does anybody know exactly what happens, biologically when someone who is sensitized gets a strong 'hit' of mold and their body goes into shock over it? I *know* that there must be some serious stuff going on with me and I am sure that there *must* be some kind of way to measure it. What about those little oxygen sensor things they put on your finger when you are getting an operation? (they register how oxygenated your blood is) Has anybody tried this? I can *feel* about five or six different changes in my body happen over a very short time window - and often, they happen *before* I realize that mold exposure is happening.. (the mold in my building doesnt smell much - but it packs a hell of a whallop for me..) Sometimes, my ears start ringing and I actually hear the ringing start and then change pitch.. this *must* mean something neurologically.. Does anyone know? Guest guest
The clamp on the finger that measures oxygen is a pulsometer (sp). I have had that placed on me a few times and for thos with a tissue alkolosis problem (chem exposure) it's basically worthless and here is why. That measures the amount of 02 you get, thats fine, but the true test is whether the body is actually utiloizing the 02. THey should be testing veous blood return. There was a report that those who are chemcially injured and with CFS: , two small double blind studies into a red blood cell '2,3-DPG' abnormality and she proved that patients with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (CFS) do have an abnormal concentration of this metabolite which is involved with releasing oxygen from hemoglobin into the cells of tissues and organs. Without oxygen the body and the brain become foggy and fatigued. Based on that just showing you are gettng 02 does not mean that the body is getting it Angel On Sat, 7 Jan 2006, LiveSimply wrote: > Date: Sat, 7 Jan 2006 23:41:32 -0800 > From: LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> > Reply- > > Subject: Re: [] Re: " professional " MD's/pressure/multi-level > (reply) > > Sort of off subject, but does anybody know exactly what happens, > biologically when someone who is sensitized gets a strong 'hit' of > mold and their body goes into shock over it? > > I *know* that there must be some serious stuff going on with me and I > am sure that there *must* be some kind of way to measure it. > > What about those little oxygen sensor things they put on your finger > when you are getting an operation?
