RE: selling to stores

Well, thanks for making me sound like a great sales person......because

I'm not (hehe). I HATE that part of the business. My husband is always

hounding me to " get out there " and push my products and I procrastinate

constantly. I have to FORCE myself to do it. I think I'm afraid of

rejection. But both of the stores that I'm selling to now are the only

two I have ever approached so I guess you can say that I'm batting a

thousand. Most of my business is orders from workers at our County

Office Bldg. where my sister-in-law works, girls that work with my

daughter at a hair salon, family, and people that rec'd my products as

gifts from someone and want more. I don't have a website and don't feel

that I want to go that route at the present but am envious of people

that do have one.

Re: ISO silicone molds

WoW that is SOOOO cool. I really should get out there and see if I

can find a store to sell to I always think it is nice that there are

people like you out there that can do that. I have a hard time

finding small independant stores that will take stuff.

I know for a fact that once you go silicone you wont go back to

anything else. I have one mold that has cherubs that is NOT silicone

and its a cute mold but i can't use plastic, I can never get themt o

come out. I only use silicone now. Unless i make soap from scratch

then it is plain rectangles but still. Silicone is the best.

You should really try bidding on ebay. They have a ton of molds. I am

cheap so I usually don't go over $10 for a mold. but I thought i

would splurge on a few full price ones if i find something I really

like and will think will sell really good.

I hope your lady likes your soap so much she will want all that you

have to offer. good luck and thanks again for that list I shall write

them down so i have them always(or until I loose my list lol)
