Guest guest
Angel I was fired from my job for the same reason. This is what you do. You contact the Department of fair housing and employment and request a form to file unlawful termination suit against them. They will have to pay you for lost wages and any wages that you would have made for a year, or they will have to give you your job back and pay lost wages. My prayers are with you...hang in there. Guest guest
Hi , Thank you. I just can't believe what has happen, I worked for this family business for five years, went without a raise because the one brother bought the other out and he was going through a bad time and I want to see them grow, I really loved my job. Then I see one of the other employees wiping down the phone after I had used it. My husband for three years was tested and it was negative. I really didn't think I would of been treated like this, I worked on my off time doing things for the company, I even have letters they wrote saying how good of an employee I was. I gave them information on the virus and treatment, it was like they had their mind all set even my doctor told them I was being treated and they said it wasn't good enough so my doctor sent another letter letting them know I was no risk to the other employees, my gosh I worked in an office. I have an attorney but that isn't doing me much good now. Are you receiving payment or do you have to wait for the law suit to be settle before you can get any kind of pay? They already hired someone else. Pray dose work and I thank you for your prayer and you will be in mine, thank you, Beverly A year and half of medical test to finally being diagnosis with > chronic hepatitis c, my liver biopsy showing signs of cirrhosis. Guest guest
Angel: In my case I lost but only because I worked for In Home Services and they said that they didnt pay me, the clients did so I had to forget it...I was paid by the State of california so they got away with it...Your case if quite different...please call or write the Fair housing and employment agency in your area...what they did is illegal. No one can fire someone for having a disease, especially if it is not contagious...you might want to let them know that one in seven people are already infected and dont know it. You can however get or transfer it by getting your nails done at a shop, sharing razors, toothbrushes, and tattoos. Dont give up! Guest guest
Maybe get your local support group together and notify the media; then you can do an old fashioned picket of the business. The business will hate the bad publicity, the media will love the rabelrousing (spelling?) and in the meanwhile you can educate all the ignorant folks about hep c and how it is transmitted (as in NOT sharing the same phone!!!) And if, in the meantime you get your job back or get a comparable job offer, all the better! We can't take this kind of treatment sitting down. If you want to email me privately, I'll be happy to bring this up to our local hepatitis task force. Guest guest
Angel WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is wonderful for . and you. 5 days a week for 2 hrs a night. wow! I can't believe it. I take Bradley to gymnastics 1 night a week for an hr. How old is now?? How many nights do they start them with and how many hours? Dawn My son has been taking Taekwondo for 3 years now. I originally put him in to help with his coordination and attention span. He bacame very interested in it, and had his sight set on a black belt. He goes 5 days a week for 2 hours each night, and can't stand to miss a night. He is now a high level red belt, two stripes from being a black belt. It took him a little longer to be ready for his testings at first, but now he is right up there with the other kids. He does not have as much strength, when sparring, and isn't as quick, but he is a perfectionist with his form. He now holds the state championship silver medal in form and the state championship bronze medal in sparring. He actually qualified to go to the Jr. Olympics for the national level. We did not make the trip for this, because I felt it was a little too much for him. It was a week long event, with very tough competition from all over the United States. He realy didn't know the difference, because a tournament is a tournament to him. I feel like it has really help him alot. His handwriting has even improved, and he has since been discharged from OT. If your son wants to do it, I'd let him try. After all, it is really hard to find things our kids show an interest in. Angel

Guest guest
, I posted here a question to you that if I came to Phoenix, you are saying that their are homeopathic doctors who could cure my CFS, mold and MCS? It is worth going there to feel better plus I could stay in a tent at a campground and the wind doesn't blow 50 mph every week. I feel like I am close healthwise where I may need to be leaving here soon. I have looked at travel trailers but mentioned before that he cross-contaminated his first several travel trailers and I am afraid this is what I would do. I don't mind living in a tent but I have found that the RV/campgrounds really do not like long-term tents. It messes up their grass. Does the wind blow hard there and often? I guess since the humidity is so low there that mold growing in homes comes from leaks? It is so humid here that I can be outside all day and bring a bunch of mold spores into my place. Will mold spores grow without enough moisture? Bob --------------------------------- DSL Something to write home about. Guest guest
Hi Bob, I guess it is true the air is not the best but you can live in some surrounding areas that are fresher. My sister lives up by the Superstition Mountains & the air seems to be cleaner there. It is further away from the city & higher in altitude (a little). Rarely is it windy. Not humid, dry. Mold does come from the water leaks. As far as bringing the mold spores in (I guess on your clothes): I would not worry about that. You cannot totally rid yourself of mold because it is everywhere (outside). Your tent should be fine. We just need to be careful of overexposure. The outdoors is supposed to have more spores & in normal conditions does but I feel the best outdoors rather than my house. My test showed more spores outside than inside so go figure. I think I could be allergic to my dog but the kids would never let me give the dog away. Ha - I guess I'm stuck there!!! There are lots of rv parks here also. At that time Phoenix was like 5% humidity and now it is over 20%. I read that Phoenix has the largest number of cases of West Nile Virus. this is weird as it is a mosquito spread illness. there are so many swimming pools in Phoenix and watering of lawns that it has raised the humidity 15% and breeding ground for mosquitos. Yes, I can see how there are more mold spores in the outside air but when I lived in Van HOrn, Tx, the humidity was 3%-15% and little to no outside air mold spores. this means a person can be outside all day and not bring in mold spores to his house when he/she goes inside. this is a big advantage to keeping your house mold free as you mainly need to think about water leaks. Tucson still have low outside mold spores. Bob --------------------------------- DSL Something to write home about. Guest guest
As i posted, there is a chemical injury support group ion Phoenix they have a discussion group at csssphx they should be able to provide you with referrals in both cities. If you are adventurous, you can try my chemically injury doc up here in Vegas. I swear by her she has saved me during some of my weorst chemcial reactions, especially the assualt by Angel perfume at Nordstroms here when I had it applied to me without my permission. Best thing about her.....if ANYONE showsup with any fragrance etc on, no matter who it is, they are turned away as to not further injury other patients. When I got assaulted,I was sitting in the wating room with the 02 on, a new patient came in with perfume on, I was freaking out, the office manager ran over and escorted her out. The patient said I waited for 3 months to get an appointmnet, and she was still denied, then the stupid comment, I only put a LITTLE on in the morning! needless to say, there was one very pissed off new patient, but at least I know she protects her patients to no end! Guest guest
Bob, I'll ask my husband about size. Probably varies. He's in charge of a big project there. The RV/Mobile home Park I think is the one some good friends invested in. I can find out about that too easily if you are interested.
