I think y'all are great and I'm glad to be able to talk to real

people who are doing the challenge.

I posted once before but really didn't introduce myself...I think I

would have been friends with alot of you in high school. I was a

huge fan of U2, , Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, The Police,

The s, The Cure, Eurythmics, Twins. Now I'm kind of

into some heavier stuff Linkin Park, the Chevelles, Hoobastank,

anything 80's, Luscious , Matchbox 20. I have a friend who

actually met Poe when he was doing a tour with her brother for Random

House. She said she's really nice in person too.

Anyway...my name is Debbie, I'm 35, single, have 2 canine kids and

live in Atlanta. I've been reading here for a week and planning to

start my first challenge on the 14th. I really appreciate all the

info about supplements and what tastes good, I'm a really picky eater

so that will be the biggest challenge for me.

I'm currently 5'2 " 143 lbs. I hope to lose 10-12 lbs., although I

understand that shouldn't be my first objective. My biggest concern

is actually that I will become too muscular. I'm one of those

genetically 'thick' people. Not a large frame, but just solid. I'm

having my body composition done this week and I'm planning to take my

own measurements once a month.

I do have a couple of questions...why is pork not allowed at all?

Will I really be compromising the challenge by doing too much

cardio? I like to bike and run and always do more than 20 min. Can

I just do the 20 min as directed and then continue at a really

moderate level?
