Guest guest
Hi All, I thought I would check in for this week (April 8th). Who I am: Anne Cycle day: 15 (Tuesday) should ovulate today... got my 1st ?? positive OPK Monday afternoon. Will take another test Tuesday morning, to see if it shows a more definite positive today. Current daily medications: Zyrtec (antihistamine), Benadryl (antihistamine), prenatal vitamin, Diflucan (anti fungal), Estrogen & Guaifenesin (through Tuesday), other vitamins & minerals. As needed medications: Benadryl & Phenergan injectables for allergic reactions. Upcoming Doctor Appointments: Tuesday 4/9 Terry & I have an appointment with a genetic counselor because of Terry's heart defect & hearing loss both of which he was born with. We are also going to investigate if my allergies can be passed on or not. Friday 4/12 Consultation with the hospital radiologist about having a HSG done next month... I am hoping that they will be able to do it with normal saline instead of the usual IVP type dye. Tuesday 4/16 follow up with the Urologist at the RM clinic. My allergies are being real charming at the moment!! I live between 2 rather large Koch Refinery plants... big oil refinery in South St. , Rosemount, & Hastings. I live between the 1st 2 plants. They must be releasing a lot of chemicals into the air the last couple of days. I haven't been outside since Friday afternoon, yet my allergies have been just wicked for the last couple of days. Normally I would just see this as being "one of those weeks" but with us trying to get pregnant, and cervical mucus being so important for getting the sperm where it needs to be, it is really hard to have that cm when you are pumping dose after dose of Benadryl or Phenergan into your system... antihistamines dry you out EVERYWHERE!! I up'd the dose of guaifenesin (robitussin) today from 800mg to 1600mg, and I did have some cm according to Terry. Most of you know that I have been working on a baby quilt. Well I took a break from it on Friday to make my best friend a birthday present. Today is her 30th Birthday! I just finished it, here is what I made her.... So I'll go back to working on outlining the quilt either after I get off line and can't sleep or tomorrow when we get home from the hospital. I have over 180 messages in my mailbox yet to be read. This is what I get for not checking my email since Friday afternoon I guess. I will try to read as many as I can in the next day or so. So if someone wrote to me specifically, give me a bit of time to find the message and respond, or send it again with something in the subject line telling me to read it first! Hope everyone is having a good week!! Love Always, Anne
