Guest guest
Hi all, this is my second time tring to post this so I hope it goes through. My name is I am a 31 year old married female with one 13 year old girl, I live in Fl. I was looking through support groups when I came across this one, and I wanted to give it a try. I have several chronic illnesses... Crohns Disease, Rhumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and severe migraines. So I pretty much feel like crap all the time. I am pretty much home bound so I dont have alot of relationships outside of my family, And I was hopeing that this site would be a nice place to meet some people who actually understand what you are going through. I hate it when people who dont know what you are going through start giving advice that wasnt asked for in the first place. For instance my neighbor (she is a very nice lady and I never say anything to her cause I dont want to hurt her feelings) Came over yesterday with an article about people with fibromyalgia should walk to help the pain.....Ya know I dont know maybe it has worked for other people but Ive done the walking thing before and it dosnt help me. And now that Im having problems with migraines I absolutly hate going out in the sun....it kills me (I feel like a vampire ha ha) so Im going to try submitting this again and I hope to hear from you. Guest guest
Hi Helen, Nice to meet you, I have already met several of the group here, and you are right!!! They are very nice. My well being???? I dont know, (having a bad day I guess) I try to cope the best I can with the chores, I try to do as much as I can get done on the good days, on the bad days when I just cant bear it, I just let it go. Like today Im having a severe headache, but forced myself to go to the grocery store cause I had no food!!! LOL. My husband helps as much as he can, but he works two jobs. My daughter tries to help also, but her life is pretty chaotic, with school and all of her social stuff, (she also has irritable bowel syndrome so she gets her bad days too). With having so many illnesses, its like one day my Crohn's Disease will bother me, then the next its my fibro, so on and so forth its like being a yo-yo. Lol Well it was nice meeting you hope to talk to you again!! Take care of you!! Re: Hello all Im new Hi ) WELCOME to the group ) Theres a bunch of awful NICE folks on here... All have different diseases and some are care givers... Which is a Hard job in itself... I myself have three of your four disease's on your list... Start telling us about your well being, how you cope with daily chores or just life in general... I know we have a couple on here with crohn's, hmmmm can't think of there names off hand, which isn't unusual, I will have to look that one up in one of my tablets ) A lot on here are homebound, so talk away, someone will answer eventually ) ((( Welcoming Hugs ))) Helen > > > > Hi all Im new, (wow there are alot of messages on this board) My name > is I am 31 years old I am married, live in Florida, and have > a 13 year old child. Guest guest
Its okay, I have worked on not letting it get me down emotionally too. Like Im sure everyone else here, I have learned to deal with the " every " day pain, its just when it gets severe I just let everything go....and get caught up eventually! Take care of you.
