I'm just hoping I didn't lose everything on my spare drive... I have Over 2000 pics on it, geneology files, you name it... Was told to always keep everything on the spare drive,in case the computer died I will still have it... Now not so sure...

The computer is Gone ( It won't even turn on... We tried to restart it and we had Sparks coming out of it at the power source... So when J has time he is going to change over an old power pack and see if it will work long enough to get off what I can... I'm hoping to get my spare drive out of it, it is a 40 and has over 2000 pictures on it, plus ALL my geneology stuff ( It has over 500 memory on it, hopefully that will fit into Ross' as he needs memory in his... I feel naked on this one, I do not have medical sites to help anyone so I will be surfing the web again to find new things, so if I repeat myself with things I have sent before please forgive me, as I will never remember what I have sent on before...

if you computer was working and puting along befor the power supply blew al you would normaly have to do is get another power supply the same and you cna get them used for like 10$ and put it in and it should work the same at it did befor aan may be beter scince the supply was going it usuly take a bit of time for a supply to go and you see the puter not working as well during the time it startes to go to when it is gone do nto give up on your system untill you spent 10$ and at least seen if a new supply in it as in new used will get its bones ratling again just my 2 cents

now as for me i been ill in bed sleeping it seems that is all i do latly sleep i have more problems with my back now it is disks in my uper back that is casuing me a lot of mre problems as well as excrushating pain in both my arms at times which the morphine will not help with it seems life does suck at times but i am still glad i am hear take care of your self

Thanks for the tip, I would like to add something into our knowledge,

I opened up E-mail one day last week and had 47 messages from hackers! I sent them all to' delete' then permanently deleted them all, that day more came in a block of ten at a time, I got mad and called AOL, they said to change passwords and do this often I rested a while and did not change it at once, next time I looked I found -- 56 more, they were having a ball with my computer!, now I am angry!

Well I changed my password at once, but that did not stop a few more. I sent those to Tosspam with the admonition 'you take care of them!'

I read one of them, kids! I replied that ,you better stop ,hacking is illegal with dire consequences and you will get caught, instead of college, how's jail time sound ! '

Well the new password took effect and not a message since then, it was not a virus so the virus checker could not stop them, they did all ,however, have blue links to open, at least the ones I opened to send to Tosspam. I knew enough not to open those as that is where viruses can get into your computer BLUE LINKS!

When I went to school, we attached our noses to what we were supposed to ,no time for this horsefeathers, it is awful! I wonder if they go to class even! Anne

Helen-sure hope that you get your photos and things back. before my old computer went down I had plenty of warning and had over 4,00o photos on it so was able to get them off of it to cd-rom. Now I just take them off as I go so I never have to face that stress again. carol
