Guest guest
I have been lurking on this group for a couple of weeks and now it is time to say HI ...I HAVE A *BIG* PROBLEM. Let me just say that you all totally ROCK! THat outta the way...on to the problem. I am on C1W8D4. I have lost 'round about 10 inches here and there and ...hmmm...15? pounds so far. I'll add it all up for ya if you like, but I think this is pretty close. My best friend (who lives across the country) FORCED me to start the program (ya gotta love a friend like that!) When is the problem coming? I'm gettin' there, I promise. I eat exactly right and NEVER cheat. I do all my excersizes properly (this is an important bit of info - keep that in mind) I hit my 10's and all that jazz. Generally, I am a good girl and am seeing some great results. (get ready, here it comes) SO why do I now have hemorhoids the size of golf balls??!!! My best friend (the one I told you about) has them too. Is this and 8th week syndrome that no one speaks of? I mean, owch!!!! h e l p.... mom2jade
Guest guest
How old is Jade? Could it be you are bearing down when lifting? Be sure you are breathing out on the " lifting " part of each exercise. In on the lowering; out on the lifting. Please keep in touch and let us know how it is going. Guest guest
I can sympathize. Had horrible hemorrhoids after my first baby. Lifting causes an increase pressure in the intra-abdominal cavity. All that pressure causes the rectal veins to bulge. Don't know of anyway to prevent this, but warm soaks and Tucks or Annusol will help with the discomfort. hiya..coming out of lurkdom I have been lurking on this group for a couple of weeks and now it is time to say HI ...I HAVE A *BIG* PROBLEM. Guest guest
Ouch, sounds painful, you poor thing! So far all the responses have been exercise related. Is that the problem, or is it more to do with the results of the dietary changes? My dh calls Myoplex " Myo-crete " because of it's effect on his system! I've found that taking psyllium husk fibre (1 tsp twice a day) has made life much easier for me. (You can laugh, I'm trying to put things politely!!! lol) It's worth a try, and even if your problem is because of the exercise, using the fibre might help. I also try to avoid Myoplex, and have protein powder with a fibrous item whenever possible (ie. oatmeal or fruit). Phoenix
Guest guest
I feel your pain. I had hemmorhoids after my baby too and one time since I have been on BFL that was worse. They lasted over two weeks. Hate to be graphic...but if you want them to go away you have to do everything suggested AND use a suppository. Sorry . Pat > I can sympathize.
