Guest guest
Hi Deb ; ) I make up " emulsified " Body Butters which are selling a lot better with more repeat customers, than the older straight up greasy whipped butters. My older formulations were the typical run of the mill whipped butter with at times some good loose oil added, maybe natrasorb and/or powdered silk, sometimes a touch of dimethicone or IPM to cut the greasy feel down. Those body butters were the rage for one year, and then customers here didn't want any thing more to do with straight up whipped concoctions. I've always preferred the emulsified BB myself, so decided to make up a huge batch and see what happened. The emulsified Boby butters were a hard sell the first year for a while since customers seemed to equate all Body Butters to be heavy and greasy. I had to hard-sell by encouraging the use of EBB samples & explain these formulations were not heavy and would not leave the skin with a coated greasy feel like yesteryear's Body Butters. Now its hard to stay on top of the requests. Just my two cents. Huggs, Bekka In a message dated 8/10/2007 3:33:05 A.M. I wanted something a bit airier. ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
