Hi everybody,

I actually jumped in a couple times last week but didn't get back on

the 'puter till now. This seems like a pretty busy board but I'd

really like to be a part of it...y'all seem like a great bunch! So

if you don't mind one more....

I tried to do my first challenge in Feb. 2002. Read the book, got

really gung-ho, and did great for a couple weeks. Lost a few lbs.

and my jeans got loose quickly!! I loved it, and in general felt

great. But I think I was getting too much protein, cause I was

peeing all the time and was always thirsty. I knew these were signs

of the kidneys having to work hard to process too much protein

byproduct. So I tried to tweak, but it threw me off...and then I

hurt my shoulder while doing chest flyes. (Tried to go too heavy).

Things fizzled out after that...

Anyway, I signed up yesterday and am starting today! I have

DietPower software now, which i *looooovve* and highly recommend. I

can record my meals and get instant analysis of everything. It's 10x

easier to use than FitDay or other programs I checked out.

I'm a yoga/fitness instructor and while I think I look okay in my

clothes, I wanna look great naked. I've got to be in top shape in my

field. So my goal is to lose 5% bodyfat, and to lose a full size

(maybe 2).

I'll put shoulder suggestions in next post, this is getting long!
