Functional examination procedures not performed and the recommendation of massage only. , don't even bother sending a complaint to the insurance division they don't want your complaint. It's the consumer's complaint they will care about and respond to which is why it's call the " Consumer Advocacy Division. I have treated her successfully since then and she is still healing. Sent to an IME who said, indeed, she is still injured and needs care so he authorized care. He then deigned (look it up) to decide what care she needed. " Massages every other week through the end of the year " (implying that the patient was still injured enough on 10-29 to warrant 2 months more care) but no chiropractic care is warranted. The Insurance carrier is using this to steer the patient from one professional to a another, thus restraining trade. Of course we'll file a complaint, send a strongly worded letter to the IME and the insurance carrier. The patient is happy to send an insurance complaint as well. As we strive to provide patient care, we are forced to burn up time and energy caring for the claim as much as for the patient's injuries. Nice.
