Guest guest
Although I didn't start the detoxifying habits specifically to prevent breast cancer, it is interesting that they all are mentioned as tools to help beat breast cancer! It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (and I've been on it ever since the results of my last thermogram).http://www.google.com/search?client=safari & rls=en & q=brevail+breast+cancer & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8 Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)))><'>www.VitamixLady.comwww..com<))>< On Dec 24, 2011, at 9:03 AM, Lea Ann Savage wrote: PLEASE DON'T REPLY TO THIS POST ON THE VITAMIX ENTHUSIASTS LIST: This is an Announcement Only post on Vitamix Enthusiasts - all follow up replies should be sent to OffTopic (OFF TOPIC VITAMIX ENTHUSIASTS List). IMO a person can't achieve their full health potential without working as much on helping the body to eliminate toxins as on reducing the toxins going in.I don't have time to do an exhaustive post with lots of references on each topic, but wanted to start the conversation and list some things that have helped me greatly…Dry Skin Brushing - YEOWZA do I love this. I've been doing it for about 2 weeks now, and know that I will do it every day for the rest of my life.Google Search: http://www.google.com/search?client=safari & rls=en & q=dry+skin+brushing & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8The best video I could find to properly describe the direction to brush (there are a LOT of conflicting methods online):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZfMhXsjXeQMy skin is no longer "dry", I see cellulite slowly going away, my skin is silky smooth, and most of all, I envision the lymph moving and toxins leaving my body every time I do this! Most days I do this 2 x a day.Rebounding - I do this 10 minutes per day immediately before one of my dry brushing sessions. I would like to do this a minimum of 2x per day, but haven't fit it in yet...Google Search:http://www.google.com/search?client=safari & rls=en & q=benefits+of+rebounding & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8Far (or Near) Infrared Sauna - I wish I did this more often. I am mercury poisoned and SHOULD do this daily, but alas, I just haven't fit it into my daily schedule yet.I have this sauna http://www.becknaturalmedicinestore.com/sauna_24.html and am thinking about getting a full-sized one - I think I would do it more often if I were more comfortable in it.http://www.google.com/search?client=safari & rls=en & q=health+benefits+of+infrared+sauna+for+detoxification & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8A good book on this topic is "Detoxify or Die" by Dr. Sherry - http://vitamixlady.com/misc-information/ (if you go to Amazon.com through the Green Smoothie book, and once you are at Amazon.com look up "Detoxify or Die" it helps support my website ;-)When I am really focused (and have the time) I do 10 minutes of rebounding, followed by dry brushing, then an hour in the sauna - very detoxifying.I do a daily coffee enema (coffee enema 4 x a day is part of the Gerson Therapy)Google Search on the Health Benefits of Coffee Enemas:http://www.google.com/search?client=safari & rls=en & q=health+benefits+of+coffee+enemas & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8On a personal note. I don't do mammograms - I do breast thermography. My last thermogram showed a LOT of congestion in my breasts and they recommended follow up with a doctor and mammogram (which I won't do) so I have a 3-month follow up thermogram scheduled and am HOPING that with all of the lymph activation, rebounding and the limited amount of sauna-ing I've been doing, the results of my thermogram will have improved greatly ;-) I'm kind of treating myself as if I had breast cancer - hopefully I can boost my immune system enough to beat it back (if that is in fact what is beginning to develop as indicated by the latest thermogram)Google Search on Breast Thermography:http://www.google.com/search?client=safari & rls=en & q=breast+thermography & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8 Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)))><'>www.VitamixLady.comwww..com<))><
