I had purchased so much fruit and veggies that I was afraid they would go bad on

me so I just made the smoothies without adding any ice to them and then put them

in a #5 plastic container and up into the freezer. I have had no problems with

them and when I take out my daily dose or a two day dose of my green smoothie, I

let it partially thaw out and then I use half and save the other half for the

next day. That is how I did it since I am on a fixed income. I cannot always

get out to the store as the weather doesn't always permit me to do that in my

power chair. So I purchase in bulk and prepare my smoothies. It is not that day

fresh but they taste very good to me just the same.

Has anyone else tried this?
