Angie,

I tried your idea today in a feeble attempt to rescue my dud from the other

night. I sauteed some onion, (the aformentioned) garlic and ginger in some

coconut oil and then added some coconut milk (not coconut cream),

homemade chicken stock, a little fish sauce and crushed red pepper, and

some lime juice (a version of the NT recipe). I then pureed this in the blender

and drank some for lunch. I'm sure it will do wonders for the summer cold I

have. I was planning on putting in the chicken and some spinach that was left

from the other day. The chicken had become a little more moist from sitting in

the juices. But the soup was so good the way it was, I hated to ruin it trying

to

save something else. So I just ended up throwing it away. I hate wasting food

and energy!
