A Green Juice Recipe

I've been using my Vitamix as a juicer more often lately.I use this technique and have come to really enjoy the squeezing of the pulp process…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGendHVlxroI put the cucumber and lemon at the bottom to create the liquid to pull the veggies down into (Rene probably just forgot this "hint" when she was making her demonstration).BTW, the 64 oz. container is a wonderful "stand" to hold open most nut milk bags.A favorite combo is:Cucumber (enough so that you don't need to use water to dilute the juice)Celery (one stalk)Lemon (one peeled if small, half if large)Ginger (to taste)Kale (to your tolerance - whatever level you are on… kindergarten through graduate school ;-)DON'T FORGET TO TAKE THE STEM OUT OF KALE - MOST of the bitterness is there...Spinach (I don't measure really)Parsley (to tolerance)Sometimes I add a clove of garlic - I don't like too muchThis is a 100% Green JuicePossible additions = some or all of:applebeet carrotto sweeten, or I personally use Stevia (most days but not all) because it doesn't mess with my blood sugar levels.Sometimes I drink it with a touch of sea salt and it is very good savory instead of sweet!I've found that if I want to use the sweet fruits/veggies (apple, beet, carrot) if I follow up with a spoon full of my coconut butter, the fat helps prevent the wild sugar swings I used to have and I take the coconut butter after my juice anyway (even if it is green) because the fats help us absorb more of the nutrients - http://www.google.com/search?client=safari & rls=en & q=fats+help+absorb+nutrients & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8You could eat ANY of the healthy fats with your juice drink - walnuts, pumpkin seeds, avocado, raw dairy cream (if you tolerate it), raw egg yolks with greens are a very good fat to go with my green drink (I've learned recently that egg whites should be cooked, and I no longer eat raw egg whites). http://www.healthhomehappy.com/2010/08/healthy-milkshakes.htmlWhen I'm in a hurry - I make the same Green Drink with Ice and fiber - I just like to mix it up lately...

So I am wondering about some other alternatives that would also utilize the Vitamix - does it work to mix the ice cream ingredients in the Vitamix and then use an ice cream maker to firm it up and then will it store in the freezer?
