this should give you a link to the article and the other photos from the event

taken by this photographer.

graduated yesterday, we chose to leave the grad ceremony until she could no

longer attend school, she turned 21 last Nov. so this was the last year she can

attend. This is a very sad time for us as she has attended this school for the

last 9 or 10 yrs. She has been in the NEST program and the past couple of years

in their Transition program. For those of you who's children are getting older

and having big problems with communicating I would highly recommend MSAD. (of

course you would have to live in MN, lol) Even tho she was not included 100%,

this past year she has enjoyed Prom, (again, I think for the 4th time) Sr. sneak

day, in which she skipped the paint ball but attended the 'camp out' dinner with

the director, MOA, Mn water park and other senior activities.

So happy this is done, i think it was worse then the other 3 as she has been so

happy and done so well at MSAD.

Her and her friend and fellow NEST member Monette both got the Administrator

Award which normally only goes to one senior so they both get their names on the

perpetual plaque and the $75 award each, the director also gave them each a

water bottle that had pink on it. (they both love pink, lol) and they also got

the work study student of the year award.

All in all a very fun two days. now we clean so we can have her graduation

celebration next weekend. ICK I hate cleaning. :)

Joy Mom to the very proud graduate.
