Guest guest
Hi everyone! I made a lotion last night for some friends about to have babies...anyway I used 3/4 c. olive oil; 2 T. beeswax (as emulsifier); 1 c. distilled H2O; 30 drops lavender eo and used the standard method of heating the oil and wax together, heating the water, blending water then adding wax/oil mixture in a thin stream. After fully blended I added the eo. Upon cooling the lotion became quite thick and unmanagable. Please help! Did I not add the correct proportions of emulsifier? Any suggestions are appreciated. I would however like to keep this recipe very gentle as it is for babies. Thank you in advance for your help!!! blessings, Peggy -- Peggy Ramos Sensual Pleasures pookie3@...
