I am sort of there with you - my two older sons are getting married next year -

in March and June - and while I am so glad that I am not a mother of the bride,

I am just totally inept about what to do as far as mother of the groom....I

never had a proper wedding myself, and my mom died when I was 17, so I have

always been clueless, and especially my son with the June wedding has in-laws

that seem very proper about this, and I hardly know them...

 

And what you say about FB is so true! So many people are your friend, you cannot

make a quick remark you will end up regretting later! Especially your

family. It is nearly impossible to have a conversation about anything on there.

But it is awesome for what it is for.

 

I am so happy to have all you guys too!

OK.. since I cannot do this on Facebook where my whole family is my " friend " .. I

Oh my lollipops.. I never KNEW planning my daughters wedding would be so

STRESSFUL!!!! LOL.

She is so laid back and whatever whatever... her fiance is GROOMZILLA! But we

love him. It's just.. plans have to be MADE and it's like pulling teeth to get

them MADE!

OK..so Shalana is getting married on the 8th of October. Her fiance has never

been around sp needs and is an only child and let me tell you over the last 4

years we have totally trained that man! He is so good with my kids.. and guess

who his best man is going to be? Yes, Maverick!

Mav has no idea of what an honor that is.. he just is happy to be doing anything

with Shalana and Harley.

Ok.. that's all.. just needed to scream and I will try to keep my OT wedding

vents to the weekend from now on!

I hear ya girl!!  My oldest  (girl) got married in May...My oldest son in

July.  And my second oldest daughters weddig is in to weeks from Saturday!!!! 

Stressed to the max.  the whole summer went by in  a blur because of all the

rehearsal dinners...showers and such.  Throw in my tow nieces baby showers and

you have one busy summer.  My son's wedding pix are on Showandtell.com if

anyone is interested.  go to the blog and look for Cameron and Jill's

wedding.  There are a few pictures of Micah.  And I also hear ya about

facebook.  That's why I love to come back to our group.  Just for

us!!!!  Our family~~

Enjoy the time even though it is stressful...it will zoom by!
