Guest guest
I called a doctor to schedule an appt. Well they ask you all these questions. Then they found out that I got sick in my building at work. So they say they don't file WC. Well I don't need it just yet but my situation could get worse. So, does any of these doctors out there want to help others or are they just in it for the fast buck????? Should I look for another doctor or if say a year down the line would they have to do the paper work. I'm really confused by this. Any experiences or advice? Guest guest
Loni, you need to file right away for WC. You probably won't get it, but you can always reopen the case later on. Be sure to get your hands on any documents from your doctor saying that the illness comes from work. I always kept records of everything - not that it did any good. I am going to reopen my case, though. This time I may bring someone from the media with me. Guest guest
Thanks for your response . I wouldn't get it even though I was in the building during remediation. So I was exposed to chemicals as well. On the doctor though, the office said they don't file WC. Do I find one that will or are they all not going to want to get involved. There's only so many neurologists around? Don't know what to do. Patilla DaHun <glypella@...> wrote: Loni, you need to file right away for WC.
