Hi. I wrote an introduction a few days ago, and at

the risk of sounding..well...un-charitable...I've felt

too uncomfortable to continue writing because I don't

pray, don't believe in god, and don't want to have to

defend myself. And, I think you're all being pretty

damn positive by being on this board, and

contributing. And you're funny, which works for me

much more than being self-righteous or sanctimonious.

I can't believe I even remembered those words when I

can't remember the most simple, everyday words.

Hmmmm.

Having said that, I really hope that this thread

hasn't alienated people who AREN'T feeling positive,

and who need a place to vent...but now won't, because

it really doesn't look like there would be a whole lot

of sympathy for that...or that a space would be held

for them to just be wherever they are. I mean, it

takes a loooooong time to become vaguely okay with all

the crap some of us have to deal with, and there's

often a lot of just plain misery along the way, and

can we make room for it and for the people who are

going through it? (rhetorical question)

Sincerely and frustratedly,

Harriet

Oh Harriet,

That is too funny - yet understandable why you would feel that way. What

would be good for you to feel more comfortable with all of us " positive people "

is go back through some of the threads of awhile back and see how " positive "

we all were when we first came to this board. The way I remember my first

posts would fall under the catagory of flat out ranting with anger, disgust

and rage at the injustice of the situation! I still do that, but now I just

make fun of the absurdity of the situation.

Hell yeah, if you feel like bitching on this board, Go for it. We have all

done it and that is part of the function of this board - venting.

Sharon, I can agree to that. It was just two short weeks ago that I

was really venting, it wasn't the first time and I'm sure it won't

be the last.

Harriet & Everyone else,

No one should hesitate at any time, for any reason whatsoever to

post what they truly feel, how it has affected them or whether you

just want to call it venting. That's why we are here.

I will not allow this board to become one that discrimates for the

reason of religious, color, creed, national origin, wealth or lack

of it. There is too much that has afflicated us as it is, we don't

need to add more poison to the mixture. We have been judged by many

individuals in the medical field, so what gives us the right to

judge others who are ill.(unless we are discussing what certain

agencies aren't doing) We have a mission and a cause, so let's

stick to the game plan and not be intimated or distracted by anyone

or anything that will prevent us from moving forward.

If ANYONE is being intimated by any means from this board through

the back channels, please inform me (by email please.)
