Almond Milk Question

Hi:

Over the holiday I made some almond milk. I soaked natural almonds about 1cup

and 1/2 added 3.5 cups water. I did not have a nut bag so I used a stainless

steel strainer. after straining I put the milk back in the vitamix with 1 tsp

vanilla and 2 dates. after I finished blending I put the results into a

container in the refrigerator. The next day you could see the pulp so strained

again. Next day same thing had to strain again. So my question is, will the nut

bag be the answer or do you have to strain the finished almond milk on a daily

basis? Also would anyone know the calorie amount from a cup of freshly made

almond milk?

Thank you in advance as I am still learning how to use my vitamix.

Happy Holidays!

I've made almond milk and just used a tea towel to strain it.  I line a strainer with the towel, pour in the liquid, let it sit for a while to naturally strain out then gather up the edges and squeeze, squeeze, squeeze!  It works well for me (until I can buy a bag).

RenaIf God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Quiet moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God.

Every moment, thank God.
