Guest guest
Grapes and limes (or lemons) make an excellent "limeade" or "lemonade". The acid seems to brighten it up and I love the flavor. I put a little of the zest in, then take the peel and pith off with the knife and chunk the center in. Yum. It's good in salsa, too. Oh, apples and limes together make the most refreshing limeade. With cold water and ice, of course. > > you can also freeze the limes. >
Guest guest
I missed these ideas when they were posted originally. Thanks! I'm going to try both the apples and lime and throwing a lime in some salsa! I've been putting two whole limes in my smoothie every morning ( they're small and very hard to peel) and the results have been great- no bitterness from the skin, so I'm going to keep trying them that way! What kind of apples do you use when you mix the limes with the apples? Gadel > > > > you can also freeze the limes. > > >
