Guest guest
It sounds FABULOUS!Every time I make Dean's Nutty Butters at Christmas time (4 each of M-n-Ms, butter scotch, white and dark chocolate) I fantasize about selling this stuff. What would be so fun is that I could create almost an unlimited menu and one of the selling features would be that YOUR jar is always custom made. Dean's Nutty Butter would always be the foundation (and I would have a fun website telling our story), but the options of what you could have made for you would be seemingly endless - any combination from the nuts column + the sweets column. For example:Honey Roasted PeanutsOrganic Roasted, Salted PeanutsAlmondsCinnamon AlmondsCashewsMixed NutsPecan/Almond BlendPumpkin/Sunflower BlendM-n-M'sWhite Chocolate ChipsDark Chocolate ChipsOrganic Milk Chocolate ChipsOrganic Carob ChipsButterscotch ChipsThe problem is the legal stuff - I think I'm supposed to pay for the laboratory verification of the ingredients in the labels and the unlimited menu idea would be cost prohibitive (unless I find that it is possible to just re-use the labels from the sweets and add in the nut ingredients?) Guest guest
Thanks, Lea Ann. I am looking forward to trying it. I am a little intimidated since I have never used the homogenizing blank in my Green Star but I am sure once I get started I will see that all my fears are fruitless :-). The only advice I could give about your possible business adventure is to pray about it and let the Lord lead you. He'll open the doors if it's His will.
