Guest guest
Tia, I have read a lot about it. It is fascinating, but I can't commit to something that extreme yet, I haven't even gone vegetarian yet! One really interesting site is http://shazzie.com/ click on " Living Raw " and just check some of it out. I have read Shazzie's journals for hours at a time. Be prepared though, her transformation journals and fasting journals contain quite a bit of pretty graphic bodily function information. Shazzie's British, so some of her terminology is a little different (if your American, not sure if you are.) I would be interested in finding out what you think about it after you read it. Are you vegetarian or vegan now? Raw food diet Anyone familar with this way of eating?
Guest guest
Hi , thank you for recommending Shazzie's website. She looks great. I was very disappointed to find that she has removed her journal from the website. Can you give me an idea of what type of experiences she shared in her journal? You can email me privately or post here. I'm excited to read them. I'm also American and reside in Illinois. :)Tia p.s. I also don't have experience as a vegan or vegetarian so this will be a big leap for me. > Tia, > I have read a lot about it. Guest guest
Tia, Her journal was just a daily account of her transformation and how it made her feel. She was already vegan, so when she decided to go raw, she kept a daily diary of everything she ate, how she felt, etc. She talked about when she would slip and eat cooked food and how, more and more it would make her feel ill. She talked about " detoxing " her body, and cleansing her colon, and she went into very great detail about what she observed. Some of it was pretty graphic and extreme, but I have to admit that reading it all, you started to think, Yeah that makes sense, and wow, I want to feel like that! But, I just don't know if I can do it. You might try emailing her if you are really interested. I am sure she would point you in the direction of more information. You might also try one of her books. I find her really fascinating, she seems such a free spirit, I wish you could have read her journal. I am sorry, I didn't realize that she had taken it off when I referred you there. Good luck, and I would be interested in hearing how it goes, should you decide to make that leap! Guest guest
Hi , no apology necessary, you didn't know. I think she may have recently removed it. Thank you for briefing on the journal. I sent an email but her website explains that the chances of her responding are slim to none due to her heavy schedule and tons of mail. I think priority is given to people requesting her for seminars and events. I'm sure she must be swamped and it I understand how difficult it can be for one person to reply to so many. I still plan to read the information on her website though. Tia > Tia, > Her journal was just a daily account of her transformation and how it made her feel.
