Guest guest
I have a couple of different types of cracker recipes that I made video of-you can see the videos on the left links at http://www.mymealmasters.com I usually use brown rice that I grind in the Vitamix, but you can also use buckwheat, oats, red quinoa, etc. or a any combination of flour blends. I just add a bit of sea salt, steam the "cake", slice and dehydrate. I make crackers every day, and dehydrate them overnight in my Excalibur (I do it at night so I don't have to listen to the fan running during the day) My crackers aren't raw, but yummy just the same. If you want raw crackers, you can pretty much dehydrate any veggie-kale makes a wonderful "chip", though not a true cracker.Sent from my iPadOn Dec 15, 2011, at 7:37 PM, Lea Ann Savage <lsavage@...> wrote: It has been a long time since I made crackers in my excalibur and I can't remember how well I liked them, or what recipe I used, but I do know that Rene Oswald's book, "Transitioning To Living Cuisine" has a chapter that is full of excellent raw crackers… Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)))><'>www.VitamixLady.comwww..com<))>< On Dec 15, 2011, at 7:34 PM, Jen wrote: Hi,I just recently purchased an excalibur dehydrator and am looking for yummy recipes to buzz up in my vitamix and make crackers or flatbreads from wholesome ingredients. Guest guest
This is my favorite gluten free, vegan cracker mix. Just made a batch yesterday. Excalibur DehydratorFlax-Veggie crackersSoak in 4 cups water for several hours:3 cups flax seeds (1/2 brown, 1/2 golden)1 cup raw sunflower seedsShred in food processor, or very finely dice1 red bell pepper2 carrotsPuree in Blend Tec:4 tomatoes – small or 2 large2 stalks celery4 cloves garlic1/3 cup braggs amino acids1 tsp. sea salt1 Tbsp. chili powderMix all all three mixtures together well, by hand, and spread on plastic dehydrator sheets, about 1/4 thick. Cut into cracker shapes and dehydrate at 105 degrees until crackers are dry on top, about 24 hours. Turn over, take off teflex sheets, and finish drying until crackers are crispy.Bonnie www.bonniesherbals.com“creating radiance with herbs and water” http://www.facebook.com/RadiantHealthforLifehttp://www.twitter.com/_RadiantHealthhttp://www.linkedin.com/in/bonnierogersComing soon: we are rebranding, our new name will be www.RadiantHealthforLife.com.com From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Lea Ann SavageSent: Thursday, December 15, 2011 7:38 PM Subject: Re: Dehydrated crackers and flatbread recipes It has been a long time since I made crackers in my excalibur and I can't remember how well I liked them, or what recipe I used, but I do know that Rene Oswald's book, " Transitioning To Living Cuisine " has a chapter that is full of excellent raw crackers… Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)))><'>www.VitamixLady.comwww..com<))>< On Dec 15, 2011, at 7:34 PM, Jen wrote: Hi,I just recently purchased an excalibur dehydrator and am looking for yummy recipes to buzz up in my vitamix and make crackers or flatbreads from wholesome ingredients.
