Guest guest
, did you (hopefully) get all this, including the principal's remarks, on tape?? Also, re: re-enroll in your home school, are you talking home zoned school, or homeschooling? And in any event, what is preventing you from either now? He has a right to be in his home zoned school unless the IEP can't be implemented there, and while I don't know your state's laws, you should have a right to home school, if you choose. Amy ----- Original Message ----- After she read the goal, I turned to the gen ed teacher and asked her if she understood the goal and how she was going to implement that goal in the classroom. She stated that the aide would do it. I said again, but how do YOU work with his IEP goals in the classroom. She then stated that she does NOT work with the sped kids.. SHE works with the Gen Ed kids. The AIDE works with the sped kids. She gives the lesson plan to the sped teacher on Fridays and she writes up lessons for the aide to teach him the next week. The sped teacher IS in the classroom working with Logan and another child for an hour/day. The rest of the time the aide is responsible. ... The principal said.. " If that is the way this meeting is going to go, I am going to table the meeting. " I said. OK.. and she said.. " This meeting is tabled. I need everyone to leave the room immediately! " .... > Does that mean that on the 21st his IEP is exempt and we can reenroll him > in our home school?
