Guest guest
I recently got a VM 5200 but I can't find any directions for performing different modes of operation with it, like chopping, etc. There are general instructions in the owners manual, that say start it at 1 (under Variable) and then up to 10, and then onto High, but that produces a pureed result (and not all the time: I am having a problem with the contents at the bottom of the container pureeing while everything on top of that remains whole and untouched. I have to 'work' the tamper down thru the lid several times to push the contents around, and this is with using lettuce and steamed, soft veggies - not hard things. I don't see an air pocket. When the entire mixture finally starts to spin around, there is a vortex, and then it all blends nicely - but I have to keep 'working' it) Would a smaller container contribute to better blending? (and this tall container is downright impossible to get down into, when it is on a counter!) Thanks, Les
