Guest guest
Welcome back . My name is Kim and I'm on my 10th week of my first challenge. I started a challenge last year and did not finish for some reason. I will continue doing these challenges until I get where I want to be. Then I will not do a " challenge " but will definitely not want to give up this way of life. I am currently 215 pounds, so I have a ways to go. I'm sure since you've been successful before, you will be again. And congratulations on your baby and on starting again. My " baby " is 5 years old and I still haven't got rid of the baby fat and then some. But I didn't know about BFL way back then and was going about it all wrong. Anyway, welcome and we value you your input!!! Kim C.
Guest guest
Kim C...I was wondering if you could tell me what your height is, and what your weight goals are. I weigh 213 and am trying to determine what is reasonable. Thanks Dawn Re: BACK TO BFL Welcome back . My name is Kim and I'm on my 10th week of my first challenge. I don't think I'm going to make it terms of scale weight but any changes will be welcome. So far I've lost 11 pounds on the scale. But according to www.biofitness.com/bodyfat.html, I have lost more pounds in bodyfat, though I can't remember the exact number right now. In terms of long range goals, I hope to be in a size 10/12, and at this point I really don't care what my weight is when I get there. How tall are you? What week are you on? Guest guest
Thanks ! I'm 5'10 " .currently wear mostly 16's..an occasional 18 here and there. I started the program last year and did really well, just never finished it...all kinds of excuses I could use, but bottom line was I wasn't with it enough to be able to deal with life stresses and take care of myself too. So I quit doing the things I enjoyed. How stupid of me !!!! Anyways..I'm on like my 3rd week of this challenge, and have lost noticeable amounts on my abdomen..didn't measure today..forgot, so I " ll weigh and measure tomorrow morning. I would like to lose 25 lbs. as well, but honestly I agree with you..if I weigh 215, but am in shape and look nice..that's fine. I would prefer to weigh 165 like I did before I got married and had children...but lately that seems unlikely..so I'm just doing the proper eating thing..working out as much as possible, and doing my darndest to succeed this time!!! Guest guest
I'm sure you will succeed this time!! I have lost inches also but still have not noticed a change in clothes size. (16 - 18 -- closer to 18) However, I got to thinking about this the other day, and I put on the last 20 pounds or so fairly quickly. So I don't think I have very many " in between " sizes. My 18W jeans are getting baggy but I don't have any 16W. I have 16 and 14. I think I will go try on some 16W just to see if I can wear them. Guest guest
Hi , Welcome back. I think I can relate to the baby weight gain. My youngest (of 3 )is 11 months. I also thought I would be able to keep working out over the pregancy--no problem.Ha Ha.. I still gained my minimum of 50 pounds . I have 3 weeks left of my 1st challenge this year. I have missed more workouts than I want to admit(mostly due to kids and myself having flu ect.) I am amazed that I still gained more strength and lost more body fat than I would have doing anything else. (because I can safely say if I can , I know you can!!)
