Guest guest
My favorite is almond/pecan 50/50 blend - roasted myself with coconut oil. - YUM! (Yours sounds good too - especially with apples!) Did you add oil? Cinnamon (and chocolate) almonds are very tasty! What are your favorites? Cashews, pecans? Mixed? I am sitting here with an honey crisp appled all sliced up and am dipping it into my almond nut butter. A little bit of food heaven. Guest guest
I am so disappointed. I just made my very first batch of coconut butter. Took a very small bite and if course made a smoothie to clean the container. I got so so so sick. I had to give my smoothie to my daughter, but at least she's enjoying it. Heartbreaking that I love coconut, but apparently it isn't GP friendly for me. --- Original Message --- From: Lea Ann Savage <lsavage@...> Sent: November 5, 2011 11/5/11 Subject: Re: Favorite nut butter  My favorite is almond/pecan 50/50 blend - roasted myself with coconut oil. - YUM!  (Yours sounds good too - especially with apples!)  Did you add oil?  Cinnamon (and chocolate) almonds are very tasty! Guest guest
The first time I tried it said 1/2 cup of oil. That was too much but I did add a bit of grapeseed oil, but not as much. > > I have now made the almond nut butter twice, both times using cinnamon almonds. What are your favorites? Cashews, pecans?
