It’s been suggested by Tim’s speech path. We are preparing him to leave

school as he’s now 21. Evidently you can download it for the Ipod

Subject: Proloquo2go

Has anyone here had any experiance with the proloquo2go program? We are thinking

about trying it for . We have tried a couple of AAC devices in the past but

they were so big and bulky he did not care for them. This being small and

portable I think he would have more interest in it. His speech is very limited

and hard to understand and with him wanting more independance I think it would

really help him.

Caty has it on her iTouch. Have you been to the website?

Caty can work it very well, but she's had several commuication devices over the

years and she understands all those little icons better than I do. She's in

school til May and her speech therapist has worked with her also. I actually

showed the therapist about it. Her therapist is excellent with comm. devices but

isn't too tech savvy with phones and ipods. She thinks the app is great and the

cost is so much better.
