Guest guest
I may be a little late in this discussion, but I used to consume Cedar Summit milk and cream, and still do on occasion when I run out of raw milk. I never drank it plain (I just don't like it that way) but used to make yogurt (with a thick layer of cream on top!) and it was always delicious. The cream whips up very nicely, too. I went on a tour of their farm last summer, and was very impressed. We walked out onto the pasture, among the cows, walked through the milking barn and met lots of calves. I'm not an expert by any means, and am also limited in my farming knowledge, but it seemed to me what a farm should be like. I contacted them a few months ago about the possibility of raw milk sales, and the response was that they couldn't risk it right now, being such a new dairy, but they would like to sometime in the future.
