Guest guest
I try not to eat those disgusting things, BUT the few times I have I did not add an additional carb, because I don't believe in the " net impact carb " thing. The only thing that passes through you (and thus shouldn't be counted as a carb) is fiber, and there's no fiber in those. Honestly, real food is always better, but if you're going for a bar, you might as well have one that tastes good and is somewhat balanced, like Zone or Balance bars; they do have about 12 grams of sugar, but they also have 16 grams of protein, and, most important of all, they're yummy. The other bars don't have any sugar, but they have a bunch of other gook in them that you don't really need, so I really don't think they're better for you nutritionally, and they taste like crap. Besides that, I've noticed that Zone bars actually fill me up for a couple of hours without sending me crashing. In fact, they fill me up better than the " low carb " bars. dani > Ok, so when you eat one of the really disgusting protein bars like > CarbRite Diet Smores, do you count it as a meal replacement since it has > 21g protein and 22g total carb?
