Thanks to whomever posted the idea a little while back to grind bones to make a

mash for dogs. My Maltese, Blossom, (14yo) lost her brother a few months back to

old age and I have a hard time finding ways to spoil her.

I make beer butt chicken once a week, tho, and always use the bones for stock,

so when I read your idea I made a plan to try it. Last night I did. Altho I've

had the VM for a few years, I really wasn't sure how it would handle the bones,

but it blended them up in just a few seconds. I poured a little on her food and

she was *really* in doggie heaven. She's a porky little thing so I'm going to

have to limit how much I give her but I'm not sure I've ever seen her so happy

since her bro passed.

So thanks again for a great idea!
