Guest guest Posted June 30, 2010 Report Share Posted June 30, 2010 2 plain sifted flour 1 sachet (7g) dry yeast 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1 cup warm 40degrees water 1 tbspn oil sea salt extra oil combine flour, yeast,sugar and salt in a large bowl. Combine water with half the oil. Stir in to dry ingredients with a wooden spoon, until dough becomes too firm to stir. using your hands, work dough into a ball, then turn onto a lightly floured surface. Knead dough until smooth and elastic. Brush a large bowl with remaining oil.Place dough in bowl, turning to grease all over. Cover with plastic wrap and a clean tea towel. Leave in a warm place - around 23degrees- for 1 hour, until dough doubles in size Preheat oven to 220 (200 fan). Lightly grease a baking tray. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, punch down and knead lightly. Press or roll inot a 30 x 20 cm rectangle. Place on prepared tray Press tips of fingers all over dough to form " dimples " Drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 25mins, or until crisp and golden.
