Well, I'm back. We didn't do the sealant, we had reached 's tolerance

level. He did good for the cleaning part and the flouride toothpaste, but the

doctor said we would schedule the sealant for later, because it required a high

level of cooperation. He wanted to end the visit on a good note, not working

past his limits. He had me sign a form that described the behavior modification

techniques that he was going to use. That impressed me.

Try to imagine how the meeting will go if everything went fine. Set a picture

in your mind of people cooperating, you getting what you need for your child,

your own children sitting quietly. Hear yourself talking about your child's

needs in a calm voice and having everyone in the room listening to you with

respect and caring. Keep a positive thought in your mind at all times. We will

be doing the same for you!

Tomarrow in Trinidad is my big meeting. ITs supposed to be prety

intense and alot of derrogatory coments about me. I am doing my female thing

here LOL. I have no day care for the 3 kids so have to bring them along.

They are not going to be happy about it but what am I to do. Its supposed to

be long yelling match type! I dont expect to accomplish anything. I wonder

what comments they have to say about me this time? My daughter has a perfect

attendance ect ect. I am not in the moood to deal with these people and hope

the police dont have to come! Wish me luck I dont feel very well. Maybe just

nervous! Charlene

yeah, I want to do one of those things where they take a digital pic and show

you what you would look like with different lengths and colors and styles.

There's a place here that does it...but it's $50 and that's just for the fun

part, no actual work.

I go to the Doctors this afternoon. I am kind of nervous. I'll be back on

once I come home and tell all, as long as I can remember all. Last night

was

a bad night with pain. He only want me taking 1 viccoden a day, well

yesterday I think I took a total of 3, not at one time. The pain was so bad

I couldn't move last night. I will tell all when I come back this evening.

Hope everyone is having a pain free day. Love to all Kelley in Colorado

You don't need luck, you've got guts! I wear what I please, and " if you

don't like it, don't look " ! :-)

You're beautiful, just remember that and project it and other people

will believe you.

Hi Melisa!

Isn't that funny? I was just talking to my hubby about doing that

very thing last night! Only, I've already had my tummy tuck. It

just didn't work very well. My husband is actually going to write

the letter and we're going to ask for liposuction to fix the tuck,

vericose vein removal on my legs, a butt lift, and brachioplasty.

You never know! Good luck to you! I hope they pick you! It would

be so cool to see one of our own on television!

Hugs!

Oh Tracey! Do you think we've got a snowball's chance? I filled out the

application last night, will print it up today. I don't have a video

camcorder, so I have to find one of those, then I have to take pictures to

send in too.

Good Luck to you!!!

Hi Melisa!

Hey, if little miss long-nose can get approved, WE can! (Nothing

against her. I did sympathize with her plight.) But, really, if

they want to do an EXTREME makeover, who better than someone who has

gone through surgery, lost well over 100 pounds, and changed their

entire life?! I'm sure at least one of us would be approved, if not

both! I'm going to have to wait a little while, though. I'll turn

in my application closer to the end of the year because I don't have

anymore time that I can take off from work this year. Let me know

when you hear something back! I'm really excited for you!

Hugs!

OK Tracey, but don't wait too long. Deadline for this is October!

I hope we get it... I really hope we do. I thought little miss long nose

was WAAAY emotional. What'd you think?

Oh, man! I got so tired of her crying at EVERYTHING! Sheesh! In

any case, it's a fun show to watch. But, I have to admit, after

reading the application, Andy and I have decided against it.

They're asking just a bit too much personal information for my

taste. (Not that I have a criminal background or anything - hee!)

But, it just sounded like an awful lot of information to be asking

for before even being approved. So, you do it for both of us! And

don't hesitate to ask for teeth whitening, if you need it. LOL!

Seems like everyone on that show gets their teeth whitened.

Hugs!

Tracey...Only problem is that there was an interview with the person who

decides who gets the makeovers, and they said that a very large percentage of

the

applicants were Gastric bypass pts. BUT you never know what will happen if you

don't try do you??
