Camp for Mentally Challenged Individuals Ages 7-16

Camp PARC, a camp for mentally challenged which is celebrating its 51st

season

is in its second year of a new resident camping program for campers ages

7-16.

We still have openings for campers in this new program. The camp begins

on July

18 and concludes on July 21. The camp is held at Laurel Hill State Park

in

Somerset, PA. The cost is $100. Each camper will be placed with a

counselor and

a peer buddy (a normally developing individual similar in age which will

be a

camper friend). All campers must be ambulatory because the camp has no
