On Sat Jan 8 SFA is presenting the new Food Farm Connection in Lake.

Emphasis

will be about local sources for food and to be able to meet local farmers and

producers.

9:00 Registration and exhibitor set-up

10:00 exhibitor presentations

11:00 story of Mike Hartman and MOM's dairy -but Mike may not be there in person

11:15 " Come Back to the Garden " by Merienne Kreitlow and Jerry Ford (also known

for

their local gourmet garlic) a musical theatrical performance about the joys and

trials of

returning to frm life.

12:00 potluck lunch with sloppy joes from homeplace organic beef (pastured) and

ice

cream from MOM's.

This has been a very valuable resource for me to be able to find farmers that I

can buy

from directly. I was also introduced to NT by Doug Schmoll at one of these

meetings.
