I can vouch for duck eggs being very good! You can use them in place of 2-3

chicken eggs when cooking. We have our own ducks and absolutely love them!

I hope you guys are willing to give them a try.

-- Organic Duck Eggs anyone?

Someone from the Acres crowd just contacted me today and they've got

organic duck eggs for sale. Apparently duck eggs are even better for you

fat-wise and health wise (much more yolk per egg) and this farm sounds like

they are doing everything right. The ducks are free-ranging heritage breed

and eat a variety of herbs as well.

I'm setting up some logistics for getting the eggs from WI to the cities for

distribution but I'm curious who all would be interested in trying them?

Please

let me know if you are.

Coincidentally, I just ordered a duck from Prairie Wind Farm which will be

delivered Wednesday so it seems I'm getting ducks coming into my life. Gee,

I wonder what that means?

i'm interested in eggs, duck or chicken, since mvv farm doesn't have them at the

moment. i use a couple dozen a week and prefer them to be fertilized and never

refrigerated--they lose their viability with refrigeration.

I know a woman in Mora who raises ducks. She keeps them for the

eggshells, I think, and I've bought shells from her for making

Ukrainian Easter eggs. I may just ask her if she'd sell intact eggs.
