Guest guest
Debbie, I think you meant this for the whole list, since you said, " Hang in there guys " positive moments. Wow, this list is really good for me. I try to read eveything and I chimed in on the re-charging thing. I know we all deal with so much and we have a very different perspective than people who only have " typical kids " I love the mom who's son puts stuff in the bus isle so a prettygirl will pick it up, or the boy who flipped off the teacher. I love it. Drew, my non verbal son, watches Die Hard with me, our favorite movie. He said SHIT. i wanted to weep. Now, of course it's not so funny. I was in a dreaded IEP/MFE bla bla bla meeting and the phsycologist was trying to tell me his IQ is below 45. I told him he's full of SHIT, lol.. Drew can watch and help his dad fix things, work on the remodling and then know enough to get thscrews and screw driver to fix the bathroom cabinet. Even if the screws were the wrong size. I think it's genius. Even the speech therapist said he was nuts. Drew goes into speech and does crazy amazing things for her. Those are wonderful, positive moments. Those are the things we hold on to when we get down, tired and worn thin. hang is there guys you all sound amazing to me.
