Guest guest
Hi Eunice, While I do not know everything Lys did and the hard part for me is not knowing and the fact that she can't always explain what happend, I do know she swam, did art activities, shot a bow and arrow and a BB gun (yeah that surprised me too) She also had a dance every nite with a different themes (rodeo nite, barn dance, laua, karoke). There was also horse back riding (they have horses, donkeys and mini horses) While Lys didn't ride a horse she did brush a mini horse and lead one to walk. They have canoeing and fishing too. Again, we're getting bits and pieces of what she did as she tells us. As far as us, we rented a cabin on the ranch. Very nice, cedar cabin with central air, it had a complete kitchen and washer and dryer. We arrived on Sat, rented a car and went to Sea World, spend the nite in San Antonia and went to 's Wonderland on Sunday. We took Lys to camp on Sunday at 5. We went to Ausin to visit a friend, and my daughter who is a flight attendent had a layover on Wed. So we met up with her and her crew and went to 6th street for dinner at an oyster bar and drinking by the pool of her hotel. We drove back to San on Thurs and went to the Alamo, the Riverwalk and stopped at the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch (like a drive thru zoo). A few little mishaps along the way, made the trip more memorial, such as a parking ticket, the scorpion who decided to share my shower and getting locked out of camp because they forgot to give us the code for the gate.
