I am in week 5 and my clothes are still not looser. I don't know what your habits were before starting BFL but I think sometimes that has a lot to do with what results you see in the beginning. You are only halfway through. Before I started this program, I worked out all the time just not with weights. And I starved myself constantly - at least 4 days a week and when I say that I mean I did not eat anything all day long except maybe a granola bar if I got too light headed. Anyway, since I started the program I gained 4 pounds (have only lost one of those since) and actually got bigger in my waist and stomach. I think my body was afraid I would starve myself and started hoarding every one of those 6 meals I was eating. Anyway, after talking to other people I decided to finish out the 12 weeks anyway because I didn't want to feel like a quitter. So I hope you choose to do the same. And again, if your clothes are looser that's a great sign! Also, make sure that you eat enough calories to keep your metabolism going. Are you taking any supplements? One of the ones that encourages weight loss might give you that extra edge. Good luck!!! Don't get discouraged, most of what you are experiencing probably has to do with water weight because it " is that time of the month " ... just keep going. You will really see great results in just a few more weeks, and by the time you get to 12 weeks, it will be even better. The fact that your clothes are fitting better is a true test. I don't even measure body fat anymore, what's the point? The measurements can vary and the devices like the scales and hand things are totally erroneous from my experience. I figure when I get my waist and hips to the size I want and am healthy and strong, then maybe I will go get dunked just to see where I am really at. Go by your clothes and the tape measure and figure that you have added an inch and probably about 5lbs of water due to PMS. good luck and hang in there! It will get better soon.
