Guest guest
I would like second that the food was great and to add that 1)Therese showered us with hospitality even though she was occupied with watching or holding one cute baby while still growing the other! 2)Lynn's cheese was only surpassed in quality by the charm and intelligence of her 5 y/o side-kick, and that 4)Jane exceeded my expectations in person (and you were nice too Jerry!) I wish I had bought more of that kombucha-it's fantastic with ginger. It was also a pleasure to meet . I think our paths may cross again at the CSA and I wish I lived in her house, because she is quite passionate and knowledgeable as well as quite the baker. I was also very pleased to make the aquaintence of Pat and Shirley (from " my side of town " ) with who I hope to remain in touch and share some East Metro treasures. Sara had obviously been very busy as she brought loads of beautiful jams and sauces. Too bad that I didn't actually come home with the stuff that I bought from her. Sniff, sniff! Did anyone notice if I left a couple of jars behind? Also, for future reference, a few of us discussed that it was really fun to trade and barter (after all it was Sharing and Caring right?), but cash comes in handy for those of us who don't prepare well ahead of time and so don't have much to offer. (I was embarrassed of my " rusty, dusty " jars that I just pulled out of the refrigerator to bring and that I didn't even bring any smaller containers with me!) So for those of you who didn't attend, next time, come hungry and presentation DOES count! Kathy
Guest guest
Well, that first one was still fun, even if there weren't too many attendees It seems like a long time ago. I'm also glad to hear that the swap went well. Perhaps next time! ~Greg -- Kroyer wrote: > I'm really glad to hear that the swap went well! Absolutely, the quality of company is as independent of quantity as the quality of food is! ===== ---------------------------------------------------------------- Your country needs you!
