Informing Neighbors about child with DS

Any advice on informing your neighbors about your child with DS? Grace is 8 1/2

& becoming little miss independent & I am concerned about her safety. We aren't

really all that friendly with most of our neighbors, however, I think I would

feel better if I let them know about Grace's situation in case she ever wondered

off. She can tell them her name is Grace Corbin, although her last name comes

out bit unintelligible. She cannot tell them her address or phone number with

any consistency & half the time she won't wear her ID bracelet.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
