Can you get the same result by using " Real Lemon " lemon juice that you can

buy in a bottle at the grocery store? Or do you need to use only fresh

lemons?

Saul,

Artificial sweeteners don't do anything but add fat. That they

are used in diet drinks is a cosmic joke to me. I don't like

artificial sweeteners for people who watch their weight, because

the cephalic phase response triggers insulin release when

something sweet touches the tongue. But, when no sugar arrives

after a while, the insulin stores cholesteral as fat. If that

isn't a problem for the people taking it, it isn't a problem for

me.

Artificial sweeteners ARE a cosmic joke. We try to get all

those on them off otherwise they can't lose weight. They are

addictive, and health threatening on many levels.

I don't know anything about Meyer Lemons My guess would be that it would be a good idea to start of with 1/4 of a whole lemon - taste that, and if it needed more lemon flavor to work your way up. The Vitamix INTENSIFIES flavors, so a whole lemon "might" be a bit too much…
