Will, check www.twincitiesfreemarket.org for used scales. There may

be someone wanting to get rid of one. You can post a 'want' ad with

the description of your item, and if someone sees it and wants to

unload a scale, they can contact you. It's not always reliable or

fast, but I thought I'd toss it out there.

Another source of things available locally, either for sale, for free,

or for barter, is at http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ It's

nationwide, but there's a Twin Cities page and you can post things in

the classifieds section.

Also, Will, try Savers, Salvation Army, or some other thrift store.

You just might find a scale and if I find one, I'll holler. )
