Guest guest
Hi All, I like the 20th better! And I liked going to Therese's as well, but 's suggestion sounds interesting too! Kathy
Guest guest
Do we need to do a poll or should we just say Nov 20? My place is always open if anyone wants to get into the country and be able to hug a chicken I could probably get some local producers to be able if it's not in the city. Guest guest
Lynn, I would come to your place to hug a chicken too! What do you mean about local producers? As far as polling, maybe we should just give a little more time for responses. I suspect some may be out of town for the MEA break. Guest guest
I'm thinking about 3 possible people--one has a goat and makes cheese, another owns the local health food store and has some interesting connections, the third is a local organic farmer with lots of fun things like wheat (for grinding), maple syrup, apples, goat milk, eggs, even chicken feed Hmmm there's also the " groumet garlic " farmer... but I think they're sold out. My dd is learning some chicken tricks- like how to put a chicken to " sleep " in just a few seconds although she usually just drags them around and loves to get them to do the " rooster squat.
